Tyler Honnold, a talented trap shooter from Bean Station, TN, began his shooting journey in 2018 at just 12 years old with his local 4H team. It didn’t take long for him to realize that trap shooting was more than just a hobby—it became his passion. Since then, Tyler has competed in numerous events, shooting tens of thousands of registered targets. His early years were marked by impressive growth, going from a beginner in 2018 with a 80% hit rate in singles to becoming one of the top shooters in the game.

As Tyler’s skills continued to develop, so did his achievements. By 2025, he was shooting an impressive 98.38% in singles and consistently hitting high percentages in both handicap (90.50%) and doubles (96.39%). His lifetime stats reflect his continued excellence with a 97.28% hit rate in singles, 89.68% in handicap, and 94.33% in doubles. Tyler’s dedication and passion for the sport have earned him recognition in the competitive trap shooting community, and he continues to be a rising star with each season.
