Peter Walker

Peter Walker is one of the most accomplished trap shooters in the country, boasting more than 30 years of experience and a decorated career that continues to rise. A 5-time ATA All-American, including First Team honors in 2024 and 2025, Pete has proven himself as a top-tier competitor. Reaching the 27-yard line in 2012 and maintaining that position ever since, he has earned over 100 honorary yards, with 64 of them coming in just the past two years. With a remarkable lifetime composite average of 94.85%, Pete has not only competed at the highest levels but has set records, including achieving AAA27AAA status and shooting three 100-straights from the 27-yard line within 19 days in 2023.

 

In addition to his impressive personal achievements, Pete has claimed major wins at both state and national levels, including three ATA Grand Slams. A key member of the Minnesota State Team for 13 years, he served as its captain in 2024. His consistent performance year after year—reflected in his 98.86% hit rate in singles in 2025 and impressive stats across handicap and doubles—cements his legacy as one of the sport’s elite shooters. Pete’s dedication to the sport and continued success make him a true force in competitive trap shooting.
